Hi, my name is

Qingzhou Lu.

Nice to meet you!

Hello! I’m Qingzhou Lu, currently a third-year undergraduate at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

I am currently working on research projects at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS), Tsinghua University, under the supervision of Prof. Huazhe Xu and Prof. Jianyu Chen.

My research interests focus on developing agile, intelligent robotic capabilities and fostering effective human-robot interaction, underpinned by advanced control and reinforcement learning. Ultimately, I aim to contribute to the advancement of robotics, enabling machines to seamlessly integrate into human-centric environments and tackle real-world challenges with greater efficiency and reliability.

Research Projects

Whole-Body Teleoperation for Xbot (OmniH2O based)
Course Project Real-time Teleoperation Motion Retargeting Data Augmentation
Whole-Body Teleoperation for Xbot (OmniH2O based)
Built a real-time video-based teleoperation pipeline for the Xbot robot using human motion capture datasets.
Implemented efficient retargeting to convert human motion data to robot joint angles, and addressed asymmetrical limb movements with mirrored data augmentation.
Cyberdog Competition
Competition Project Robotics Computer Vision Navigation
Cyberdog Competition
Led a team of four, focusing on perception and navigation for a quadruped robot. Overcame computing constraints via hierarchical optimization and reverse-engineering closed-system control interfaces.
Earned the first prize in the competition.
Arduino-Based Quadruped Robot
Course Project Arduino Kinematics Embedded Systems
Arduino-Based Quadruped Robot
Collaborative project with a team of three. Combined self-learned robotic kinematics with hardware design to implement basic gaits (forward, backward, turning) on a custom quadruped robot.
X.D Project: Intelligent Car Competition
Competition Project C/C++ Embedded Systems
X.D Project: Intelligent Car Competition
Led a team of four to build a resource-constrained Infineon AURIX™-based car. Developed visual perception, path planning, decision-making, and PID control modules.
Achieved first place in track racing and the first prize overall.

Open-Source Projects (Selected)

6D Pose Estimation Dataset Generator
Isaac Sim Computer Vision 6D Pose Estimation
6D Pose Estimation Dataset Generator
An automated Isaac Sim-based tool for generating 6-DoF pose estimation data in YCB-Video format.
Randomizes object placement, lighting, and materials to produce diverse scenes, outputting standardized annotations for downstream training.
MPUDP Relay
Networking UDP Reliability Security
MPUDP Relay
A multipath UDP relay service with built-in heartbeat and automatic link switching. Uses elliptical curve-based signature authentication for secure communication and link monitoring.
Music Player (Vue+Electron)
Desktop App Vue.js Electron Audio Processing
Music Player (Vue+Electron)
Desktop music player built with Vue and Electron.
Supports local/online playback, lyric scrolling, and advanced audio processing (e.g., automatic vocal removal, adjustable voice ratios). Originally created for a high school graduation ceremony.
